Questions owners ask
Price and terms
How much does it cost?
Every business is different. Nathan gives you a straight quote after a short call. The quote is built from what your audit finds and the work you want more of, so you only pay for what you need. If it's more than you want to spend, he can start you smaller, like fewer pages first.
Why don't you have packages?
A package makes you pay for things you don't need and can skip things you do. A roofer with a slow site and a cleaner with no site need different work. Your audit shows what's missing, and the quote covers that.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
You get a plain written agreement to read before you pay anything. It says what's included, how billing works and how to cancel. Nathan goes over it with you on the call.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. Your domain is in your name from day one, and the site is yours once the setup is paid.
The free audit
What's the catch with the free audit?
Fair question. It's how Nathan meets owners. There's no cost and no card. Nathan calls once, at the time you picked. Nathan walks you through your audit on the call, then emails you the 1-page report. The fix list is yours to keep. If you say no, that's the end of it. No texts, no spam.
What does the free audit check?
Your call button on a phone screen, your tap-to-call link, whether your form is set up to send somewhere, your page speed, your search basics (title, description, headings, https, sitemap, business details) and whether AI search tools can read your site. Nathan also checks by hand whether your form really reaches you, how your first screen looks on a phone, and your Google Business Profile.
Search and AI search
Can you get me to the top of Google?
No. We never promise rankings. Nobody honestly can. Be careful of anyone who says they can. We fix what's holding your site back and keep your business details right. Every month we show you what we did and what we checked.
What is AI search, and can you get ChatGPT to recommend me?
AI search is when someone asks a tool like ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews or Perplexity a question and gets an answer instead of a list of links. Think "who fixes furnaces near me?" We set your site up so those tools can read it. That means clear business details, structured data, plain question-and-answer content, a short summary file for AI tools, and settings that let their search crawlers in. Each month we ask them the questions your customers ask and show you what they said. We report what the AI tools say. We never promise placement.
Your visitors and your privacy
How do you find where visitors leave my site?
With Visitor Insights. We use standard analytics tools on your site to see the pages people leave from, how far they scroll, where they tap and nothing happens, and which form field they quit on. Each month you get a Leak Report: the top 3 places visitors leave, the likely reason with the proof, and the fix. These tools get listed in your site's privacy notice.
Do you track me on this site?
Only in a small, private way. When our own form connection is live, we count visits with our own simple counter. It uses no cookies and no ad pixels, and the data goes to the same private Google Sheet as our forms, nowhere else. The counter doesn't keep your IP address or anything you type into a form before you send it. It does note which form field someone stops at, so we can fix our own forms. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we don't count you at all. Details are in our Privacy Notice.
Working together
How long does it take?
It depends on how many pages you need and how soon we get your photos and details. Nathan puts a target date in your written scope before you pay anything. If your photos come later, the date moves with them.
What do you need from me?
Photos of your work (phone photos are fine), your services, the towns you cover, and a short call to start. If you have a site, we'll need access to your domain. If you don't, Nathan helps you register one in your name. After that, we look after it.
My nephew (or a web company) already does my site. Why would I need you?
Maybe you don't. We're not here to knock anyone's work. The only question is whether the site does its job: can a customer on a phone call you, and does the form reach you? The audit checks the first, Nathan tests the form by hand, and you can hand the fix list straight to whoever runs your site. One thing worth knowing either way: who owns your domain and has the login.
I get all my work from referrals. Do I even need a website?
If you're booked out on referrals and happy, maybe not. A website doesn't replace word of mouth. It gives the people your customers send somewhere to land when they look you up before calling.
Have you done this before?
You'd be one of Nathan's first clients, so there are no reviews to show you yet. What he can show you is your own audit and exactly what he'd change. AI tools help us build and check faster, and a script checks every page before you see it. You still deal with Nathan, and nothing goes live without your yes.
